Pursuant to G.S. 150B 21.2 (e) (f) the Board will enter a comment period for 21 NCAC 64.0212 and 21 NCAC 64 .0221 starting June 15, 2022. The comment period will end August 15, 2022. Please view the Proposed Rule for Audiometric Screening for Speech-Language Evaluations using the button below.
For those who have submitted comments already, you do not have to resubmit those. All questions and comments can be directed to Executive Director Denise Brown via writing to her email, or to the Board’s mailing address NCBOESLPA, PO Box 16885, Greensboro, NC 27416-0885. All questions and comments will be presented to the Board for consideration during the Public Hearing on July 22, 2022.
You may attend the July 22, 2022 board meeting virtually or in person to make your questions, and comments known at that time.
For those looking to attend in person you should reach out to the Board office to notify office staff that you are looking to attend in person. If you are looking to attend in person please notify office staff no later than July 15, 2022. This allows office staff to ensure there is adequate space for all attendees.
