Per the Board meeting held 1/25/2019, The Board established that moving forward simulated patient hours will be accepted toward meeting the 20 hour minimum requirements for temporary licensure. The maximum number of allowable simulated case hours remains 75. Clinical simulation hours may include use of simulation technologies and standardized patients. Simulation technologies include virtual patients, digitized mannequins, task trainers, computer-based interactive patients and immersive reality. These hours may be used in any of the adult or pediatric diagnostic or therapeutic areas.
