Notice: Until you receive notification from the Board that your North Carolina temporary speech-language pathology license has been issued, you will be in violation of the law if you practice in the profession of speech-language pathology unless your practice is in areas exempt from the statute.
Note to applicants: The most common reason for delay in the consideration of an application is error in completing the application accurately, providing the required information, and not following the instructions. Application Submission Deadline: Temporary Speech-Language Pathology licensure applications and applicable fees must submit their application at least one week prior to the monthly board meeting in order to have their application reviewed during that months meeting. Initial Audiology Licensure Requirements

Accredited College or University
“Accredited college or university” means an institution of higher learning accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Universities, or accredited by a similarly recognized association of another locale. (1975, c.733, s. 1; 1987, c. 665, s.1.).
